| The mission of San Miguel School is to provide a quality education in a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment for students in preschool through 8th grade. We believe that each child has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. In partnership with parents who are the primary educators, we are dedicated to instilling a sense of pride and self-worth in our students as they increase the faith-promise to live and teach as Jesus did. |

| Philosophy |
In keeping with the spirit of “To teach as Jesus did,” we believe in God who
creates, redeems, and sanctifies His people. We recognize that each person is
created as a unique individual with the responsibility to grow in love of God
and others.
The community of San Miguel strives to develop faith, love, unity, and charity.
We are committed to the development of the whole person: spiritually,
intellectually, psychologically, socially, and physically.
We believe the parents are the primary educators of communicating the faith to
their children. We are committed to supporting and encouraging them.
We are committed to providing an academic program with goals and objectives that
are realistic and meet the needs of our students. We model attitudes and
behaviors that will inspire our students to become lifelong learners, and
contributing members of their community who will make a positive difference in
the world.
We provide a safe and spiritual environment where emphasis is placed on living
lives centered in Jesus Christ, with efforts directed toward integrating that
faith with life. |
